REVIEW OF EPIC RETOLD- SUKRITHA S SHENOY (8232)

Epic Retold attempts to pass a camel through the eye of a needle by rewriting the longest epic in the world using one of the shortest tools in modern communication. The Mahabharata is the story of a war:bitter,poignant,devastating. Told here from the perspective of Bhima,Epic Retold makes a fierce anti-war statement. It is a complex experiment that was orginally microblogged on the Internet: a GRAND OLD EPIC REINTERPRETED FOR A NEW GENERATION.
                        I am not agreeing with the author about the picturisation of Kunti,mother of Pandavas in the book. She was badly picturised in this book.That is,many of them are merely exaggerated by the author about Kunti.
Otherwise this book has all the qualities that an epic Mahabharata,in the perspective of Bhima possess.
